How do I move up my status in VIM?
- Partners can gain a new status in VIM upon reaching the next VIM threshold. Our system checks your progress towards the next VIM status hourly and updates your VIM status if needed.
How long does my VIM status last?
- Once you achieve a new VIM status, it will remain in place through the end of the calendar year unless a higher status is achieved during the same calendar year. At the end of the year, our system will check your spending for the entire year and set the status accordingly for the next year based on your previous year's spending.
I'm a Plus member; why am I not a Pro member?
- You need to meet the spending requirements for a Pro member to be eligible for the Pro status. The minimum annual spending required for the Pro member status is $100,000.
I'm a Plus member, and I want Elite status. How do I get it?
- Like the above question, you must reach the spending threshold to qualify for the Elite status. The minimum annual spending required for the Elite member status is $400,000.
I'm a Plus member, but I think I can qualify for the Pro member status if I move more orders to Gooten. Who can I talk to about this?
- If you're thinking about moving more of your orders to Gooten to hit a specific member status threshold, you can reach out to our Partnership team with the following form.
Can I use my excess spending amount from the previous year to qualify for a higher VIM status in the current year?
- No, you will not be able to carry over your excess spending amounts from the previous year. Our system will set your VIM status for the next year based on your previous year's spending. The total amount spent will be reset for the new year and will need to be accomplished again.
How frequently do you re-adjust statuses? For example, if I have an excellent year with Gooten, can I move up immediately?
- Suppose you qualify for the next VIM status within a year or by the end of the year. In that case, you will be upgraded to the next status immediately, and your VIM status will have the expiration date of January 1st after you’ve earned your VIM status.
- If you don't qualify for the next VIM status during the year and reach the expiration date, we will evaluate your spending level and assign you to your new VIM status accordingly.
- This potentially means that you could downgrade to a lower VIM status if you didn’t maintain your spending levels for your current VIM status.
Do I need to wait until the end of the year to upgrade even if I meet the spending goal mid-year?
- You'll get upgraded immediately! Once you reach the spending goal towards the next VIM status, you'll be upgraded right away. The expiration date for your VIM status will last through December for the year after you’ve earned your VIM status.
How do I track my progress to the next VIM status?
- You can view your progress to the next VIM status directly within the Gooten Admin. You can find it on the VIM page on the profile tab on your Settings page.
How do I know that I reached the next VIM status? Do I need to activate anything?
- We’ll send you an email to let you know that you have reached the next VIM status. Your VIM status within your Gooten Admin account will also reflect that change. You do not need to activate anything. You'll be upgraded within three business days when you reach the spending goals for the next VIM status.
Do I get assigned a VIM status as soon as I join Gooten?
- You will get assigned a VIM status once you sign up. Once you've joined Gooten, we'll assign you the Insider VIM status.
What benefits does an Insider member get?
- Insider members will get access to our Partner Support team's first response within 36 hours, webinars and Q&As with industry experts, and be provided with our standard turnaround time and cut-off date information for Gooten. Finally, you'll get access to our campaign advice and educational resources.
Are there pricing or shipping discounts as I move up in VIM Status?
- Our Pro and Elite members can contact their Partnership Manager for more information about special pricing or available rebate programs.
I qualify for the free sample credit; how much do I get, and how do I use it?
- Sample credit is essentially used for products you have not tried yet and would like to try.
- You need to reach out to our Partner Support team to quote how much free sample credit you have available. If you are in a VIM status with a dedicated Partnership manager, please reach out to your Partnership manager for more information.
- To use your sample credit, you need to place an order with Gooten and submit a refund request for that order as long as it’s within your available free sample credit.
