You can view and export the pricing for any product directly within the Product Catalog of the Gooten Admin!
Viewing the pricing for products from the Gooten Admin can be extremely beneficial. So let's check out some of the benefits:
- You'll receive faster and accurate product pricing quickly from the admin.
- Downloading a CSV of the product prices allows you to view and evaluate prices dependent on your business needs.
The currency for product prices in the catalog is in US dollars by default throughout the Gooten Admin regardless of your saved address on the Settings page.
- For example, if your address on the Settings page is set to an Australian address, the product prices in the catalog will be displayed in US dollars. The product prices will be displayed in US dollars if your address is set to a Canadian address and so on.
- Please note that all prices in the product catalog will be displayed in US dollars by default if no address is saved on your Settings page. Any changes in the Settings page to the address will not modify the currency throughout the Gooten Admin.
- Please note that your customer's shipping address does not influence how the product prices are displayed in the catalog.
Let's check out how to find your product pricing in the Gooten Admin!
View the pricing list directly in the Product Catalog
1. First, go to the Product Catalog in your Gooten Admin, select the product you want to view the pricing for and click on the triple dots button.
2. Click on the View Pricing option.
3. You'll see a pop-up that displays the product and shipping prices for the specific product you view.
Under the Product tab, it will display the prices for the product variant selected. The pricing displayed will show the price range for the variant as the pricing for the product can vary.
Some products will display more detailed pricing rather than ranges. For example, the product prices for Economy Framed Prints will be displayed in detail.
You can choose the model/variant to view the pricing for using the dropdown and selecting the product option.
4. The Shipping tab will display the shipping prices for the different shipping options available for the product.
The table contains an "Each Additional" column which displays the additional costs in shipping. The "Each Additional" column is the base price but can vary depending on the quantity.
5. You can use the dropdown to view the shipping prices for the different shipping destinations.
You also can download the full price list for the product, which will download a CSV of the full price list for the product you are viewing.
Export the pricing list from the Product Catalog
1. First, go to the Product Catalog in your Gooten Admin, select the product you want to view the pricing for and click on the triple dots button.
2. Click on the Export Pricing List option.
3. You'll then see a notification that your Price List CSV is downloading, and it will begin downloading your file.
4. Once you download the file and open it, you can view the pricing for the product and the different variants for the product. The pricing in the CSV contains the following information:
- Product: The name of the product that you are viewing the pricing for.
- Region: The region that the product is available for.
- Variant information: Depending on the product, you will see various columns that identify the different variants for the product.
- You can see that the Mugs have columns for the image placement and size variants in the first image.
- You can see that the T-shirts have columns for gender, brand, model, print area, colors, and sizes variants in the second image.
- Price: The price for the product variant.
- Each Additional: The additional costs if you were to add on additional product options.
- For example: If you wanted to add neck labels to your apparel products.
- Shipping Prices: There will be various columns to provide you with the estimated shipping costs for the product.
